Today we become inspired by Arnold Schwarzenegger and his thoughts about success. He ennumerates 8 rules, which I proceed to comment:
1) Have goals, purpose, and visions.
There's no way you can have success if you don't know where you are going. Define a specific plan and timelines when to fulfill the milestones which will push you towards your goal.

2) Don't listen to the naysayers or doubters.
Many will surely discourage you to keep pushing, mainly because they are aimless or had bad experiences. That does not mean that you have to fail, they might not have tried hard enough or simply lacked experience. Believe in yourself and you'll find your path to success.

3) Work your ass off and advertise.
There's the English saying: "There is no such thing as a free lunch". Success and good results don't fall from heaven, so apart from the right mindset you need to work hard so that you deliver good products or services. No pain, no gain. Then let the world know about you, they will not come to you if they don't even know you exist.

4) Don't have a backup plan. We function better if there is no safety net.
Having a Plan B is a way for us to pretend to leave our comfort zone but not doing it actually. If you know there's a way out should you fail to accomplish your purpose, you won't take it seriously and either procrastinate or deprioritize your tasks. You've got to put yourself through pain so that you really do whatever it takes.

5) Never doubt yourself.
Believe in yourself! Your faith must remain alive so that you don't fall apart whenever setbacks turn up.

6) Everyone fails, but losers stay down.
Even winners fail, and you have to because it is part of the process and you'll learn from your mistakes. Just don't be afraid of making mistakes, get up and try again.

7) Being relaxed and giving it everything we have is the best way to perform.
Stress surely does not help us to achieve our goals, so relaxation together with self-confidence and doing our best are the way to go.

8) Help out others and give back to the world.
You become a better version of yourself when you transform into a better person. I believe successful people are doing good because they appreciate what they have and are willing to give back to the universe. The universe will give you back in return.
